Intended Use: This board is intended for both leisure paddling or ultra high performance surfing with great paddling stability. Like all Rippers we designed this board to tear waves apart or ride in the barrel. This is the ultimate ripper board for those that want more stability than the 9-3 Ripper and still prefer the pulled in nose. Mel Pu'u who is 235 to 245 lbs loves this board when he wants to go straight up and down.
All in all, this is by far the most progressive, wider 9-6 meant for extreme surfing on the market. Lay it next to any other board and you'll see a dramatic difference. Then take it surfing and you will feel what we mean when we say, "Performance Matters".
